Hey, I’m Carlos.
I’m a developer who likes building things and running my own servers. This site is actually hosted on my homelab at home, tunneled through Cloudflare. No cloud bills, just a little server doing its thing.
What I’ll write about
Mostly stuff I’m learning or working on:
- Self-hosting - How I run my own services instead of paying for subscriptions
- Homelab stuff - Docker, networking, backups, all that
- Web dev - Flask, React, whatever I’m building at the moment
Nothing too formal. Just sharing things I figure out along the way.
Why self-host?
Honestly? It’s fun. There’s something nice about having your own little corner of the internet that you actually control. Plus you learn a lot when things break (and they will).
